I joined the United States Army in 1998. Within three years our beloved Country was attacked on September 11, 2001, and my simple life of training and preparing for war became a reality. Throughout many missions and deployment opportunities, I have become a completely different leader and follower than I was in 1998. The family and experiences of the last 26 years have shaped my mindset in numerous ways, and I would not change a thing, if I had to do it over.
